Meet our November artist: Racheal Gross
Rachael Goss is a full time psychotherapist and teacher who lives in Wilkins Township. She discovered painting after a breast cancer diagnosis and found that it was one of the only ways to quiet her mind. Now, she paints to unwind after a long day doing therapy. She loves to travel, is often inspired by the natural landscape for her paintings, and looks for subtle elements of magic as she hikes. She uses acrylic, gouache, and alcohol ink to create a variety of mixed media pieces. She is inspired by and studies the work of Anne Roos (Netherlands), Ruth Wilshaw (Wales) and Heidilinde Stabentheiner (France).
